Students gain exposure to private/public sectors, for-profit/nonprofit sectors, and a variety of careers through relevant workshops and hands-on experience. A key element of the Career Mentoring Initiative is creating unique partnerships between corporate leaders and public school students and teachers, offering access to life changing opportunities. |
Go For College InitiativeDescription: The Go For College Initiative was launched with the belief that whether or not college is for everyone, the choice to go certainly should be. A range of programs expose students to essential college information, such as college visits and school based workshops. In addition, the annual Go For College event provides a full day of activities including interactive workshops and a college fair with representatives from some of the most prestigious universities throughout the nation. |
